Who is Loggit for?

What exactly does it do?

When a remote session ends, Loggit works out the minutes, the ticket, the client, the agreement and the work type, writes the work note from the session record, and places a draft time entry on the ticket. You approve and the entry is billable. On the same data it lists sessions with no time, audits entries before invoicing and answers questions.

How does it know what the tech did?

From the session record your ScreenConnect server already keeps: connect and disconnect times, commands run and their output, tools executed, files moved, the chat with the user and notes typed in the session. Take Control gives chat, transfers and end-of-session notes, so its notes are shorter. Plus the ticket, its notes, the device and the agreement from your PSA. Nothing is read from the technician's screen.

Is anything installed on tech machines?

Accepted Answer

No. A Loggit extension runs on your ScreenConnect server, cloud or self-hosted, and sends session records to Loggit over HTTPS. Take Control is read through its API. Everything else is server to server. Nothing on laptops, no browser extension, no desktop app.

Question 5

Where does the draft appear and how do I approve?

Accepted Answer

As a real time entry on the ticket, in your technician's timesheet, marked Loggit draft and not billable. Approve it the way you approve time today in your PSA, or tap Approve in the Loggit dashboard. Loggit then sets it billable according to the agreement. Edit and Skip are always there. Nothing posts until you say so.

What if it picks the wrong ticket?

It never guesses silently. It ranks candidates by the device on the ticket, the assigned technician, the time of the last note and the company, and shows its confidence. When two tickets are close it shows a short list. When no ticket fits it suggests a new one for you to confirm. Unmatched sessions wait in the dashboard; they are never dropped.

What if the session record is thin?

Some sessions are just connect and disconnect. Then the draft carries only what is certain, the device, the minutes and the ticket, and asks you one question at approve time with three guesses from the ticket. One tap finishes the note.

Can I undo a posted entry?

Accepted Answer

Yes, from the dashboard or from the entry itself, for 24 hours. Loggit deletes the entry, or sets it to zero hours with a reversal note where your PSA locks the period. Entries already on an invoice are never touched.

What does Loggit never do?

Accepted Answer

Nothing on any laptop. No screenshots, keystrokes or window titles. No email, calendar or chat as inputs. No ranking of technicians. No email to your clients. No entry written without approval unless your admin switches that on after 30 days under a two percent correction rate, and it can be switched off any time.

What access does it need in my PSA?

An API member with the smallest useful scope: time entries create, read and update; tickets read on the boards you choose; agreements, configurations, companies and contacts read. No invoices, no deleting tickets, no writing contacts. The full scope list per PSA is published before the pilot.

Where is my data and who can see it?

Accepted Answer

Each MSP is a separate tenant with its own database schema and encryption key in AWS. Credentials sit in AWS Secrets Manager and rotate every 90 days. The language model runs in your region, keeps no logs and never trains on your data. Passwords and personal identifiers in chat are redacted before any model sees them. History is kept for the life of the subscription and deleted within 30 days after you leave.
